One of those fun paintings

A recent commission painting of Queenstown Hill. Artistic licence was used in fitting in the background, but as always in my work, it’s the feeling of the moment that matters. I was quite pleased how I managed to capture the crisp mountain air and breathtaking scenery, without losing the spontaneous line drawing that forms the basis of keeping the painting dynamic and alive.
