From My Private Collection

Last month I finally had access to my old private collection paintings. That was a sad occasion but something that by now I am accustomed to, someone else claiming stake to my artwork. That's ok, as I can't even take it personally, I just observe it like a clinician. There were some old paintings there that awakened some good memories. These two paintings featuring my kids and the art studio dreamed one were painted several years apart. That was our life, I'd be in my art studio every day painting and my kids would be there, it was our everyday. The kids got used to it, that was normal. I'd set up activities for them, taught to use power tools, use their imagination, create, take things apart, investigate. We used to call us" the three musketeers". We were probably unknowingly preparing to be resilient in coping with what was to come some years later. That's past now and who cares, the main thing is to look into the future and see new exciting opportunities awaiting. There's so much to do.
